Cloudflare Opens Logpush to All Plans and Pledges No New Enterprise-Only Features
On October 2, 2026, Cloudflare said that Logpush, its log export service, is now available on Free, Pro and Business plans with pay-as-you-go pricing, and that it will introduce no new Enterprise-only features from now on. The same announcement raised a long list of platform limits and confirmed that hard spending caps are planned for early availability in the fourth quarter of 2026. For most businesses the practical effect is that security and audit logs, which used to require an Enterprise contract, can now be kept on any plan.
The details are in Cloudflare's own post, Updates on our pledge to make Cloudflare features accessible to everyone, published during the company's Birthday Week. Everything below was checked against Cloudflare's pages on October 6, 2026.
If your website or application sits behind Cloudflare and nobody on your side has reviewed the plan settings recently, this is a reasonable moment to do it. Entrant Technologies builds websites, web applications, mobile apps and custom software, and hosting and logging decisions are part of our software development services.
What did Cloudflare announce on October 2, 2026?
Cloudflare announced that several features previously sold only to Enterprise customers are now open to every plan, and it committed to stop creating Enterprise-only features. The post puts the commitment in one line: "today we are committed to introducing no new Enterprise-only features." It follows a pledge the company's CTO made a year earlier to make every Cloudflare feature available to everyone.
The items in the post fall into four groups:
- Logs: Logpush and Logpush transformers on Free, Pro and Business plans.
- Visibility: Custom Dashboards, which the post says are "now available to all customers".
- Access control: role-based access at the level of an individual resource for Workers, joining R2 and Access, plus identity features such as SCIM 2.0 Group Sync and SCIM audit logging.
- Limits and billing: higher limits on Workers, Pages, Workflows and other products, and billing controls for customers who are not on Enterprise contracts.
What is Logpush, and what does it cost on Free, Pro and Business plans?
Logpush sends Cloudflare's logs about your traffic to a storage or analysis service that you choose, and on Free, Pro and Business plans it is billed by the gigabyte after a monthly allowance. Cloudflare's Logpush documentation describes it as pushing logs "in near real-time to storage or SIEM". A SIEM is a security monitoring system that collects logs from many sources and raises alerts.
The published rates
As of October 6, 2026, the Logpush pricing page lists these figures per Cloudflare account, per month. Exports to internal destinations include 25 GB, then cost USD 0.03 per additional GB. Exports to external destinations include 25 GB, then cost USD 0.10 per additional GB. Transformed logs include 1 GB, then cost USD 0.04 per additional GB. Cloudflare counts its own R2 storage and Pipelines as internal destinations and everything else as external. Workers Logpush is priced separately, by number of requests.
The limitation to know about
Logpush cannot recover logs from before you switched it on. The documentation states that it pushes logs once as they become available and cannot backfill historical data. If a security incident happens next month and you want to see what happened, the export has to be running before the incident, not after it.
Which Cloudflare limits went up?
Cloudflare raised limits across its developer platform, mostly affecting applications that run on Workers, Pages and Workflows. The figures the post gives include:
- Workers startup time of 1 second, up from 400 ms.
- Up to 1 million subrequests per request in a Worker, up from 1,000. A subrequest is a call your code makes to another service while handling one visitor request.
- Up to 100,000 static assets in a Pages project, up from 20,000.
- Up to 25,000 steps in each Workflows instance, up from 1,024, and 50,000 concurrent instances per account.
These numbers matter mainly to your developers. If a past project was designed around one of the old ceilings, for example by splitting a large site into several Pages projects, that workaround may no longer be needed. Limits can differ by plan, so confirm the figure for your own plan in the product documentation before relying on it.
What is available now, and what is still to come?
Logpush on all plans, Custom Dashboards and the higher limits are described as available now; hard spending caps and Organizations for free accounts are not. Keeping the three states apart avoids planning around something that does not exist yet.
Available now
Logpush and transformers on Free, Pro and Business plans; Custom Dashboards; the limit increases listed in the post; a New Account button in the dashboard for creating additional accounts; and budget alerts, which the post says are on by default. The billable usage dashboard and API were introduced in August 2026.
Announced for a later date
Hard spending caps: Cloudflare says it is "prototyping hard spending caps now, with early availability in Q4 2026". Organizations, a way to manage several accounts together, is due to become generally available in October 2026 and to reach free accounts in early 2027.
Beta
Organizations is in beta for Enterprise customers as of the October 2 post.
Who is affected by the change?
Any business with a site or application on a Cloudflare Free, Pro or Business plan is affected, because features that were previously out of reach are now switches in the dashboard. Three groups gain the most. Companies that must keep access or firewall logs for a set period, for audit or contractual reasons, can now do so without an Enterprise contract. Teams that have had a security scare and found that they had no record of the traffic involved can close that gap. Businesses running usage-billed products such as Workers get budget alerts today and a hard cap later.
Enterprise customers keep what they have. The post describes no reduction in Enterprise features.
What should a business do now?
Decide whether you need to keep logs, and if you do, turn the export on before you need it. A short checklist for the person who manages your Cloudflare account:
- Confirm which plan each of your domains is on and who has administrator access.
- Decide which logs matter to you (HTTP requests, firewall events) and how long you need to keep them.
- Pick a destination. Cloudflare's own R2 storage is billed at the lower internal rate; an outside service is billed at the external rate.
- Estimate the monthly volume against the 25 GB allowance, and check that budget alerts are switched on.
- Ask your developer whether any workaround built for an old Workers, Pages or Workflows limit can now be removed.
Stored logs often contain IP addresses and other personal data, so the storage location and retention period should fit your privacy obligations. Our guide to a web application security checklist for business covers logging alongside the other basics.
Quick answers
Is Cloudflare Logpush available on the Free plan?
Yes. Cloudflare announced on October 2, 2026 that Logpush is available to Free, Pro and Business customers with self-service, pay-as-you-go pricing. It was previously an Enterprise-only feature.
How much does Cloudflare Logpush cost on Free, Pro and Business plans?
As of October 6, 2026, Cloudflare's pricing page lists 25 GB of exports per account per month as included, then USD 0.03 per additional GB to internal destinations (R2 and Pipelines) and USD 0.10 per additional GB to external destinations. Transformed logs include 1 GB, then cost USD 0.04 per additional GB.
Has Cloudflare ended its Enterprise plan?
No. Cloudflare still sells Enterprise plans. What it committed to on October 2, 2026 is introducing no new Enterprise-only features, and it has opened some existing ones, such as Logpush and Custom Dashboards, to all plans.
Does Cloudflare have a hard spending cap?
Not yet, as of October 6, 2026. Cloudflare says it is prototyping hard spending caps with early availability planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. Budget alerts are available now and are on by default.
Can Logpush recover logs from before it was enabled?
No. Cloudflare's documentation says Logpush pushes logs once as they become available and cannot backfill historical data. The export must be running before the events you want to record.
Conclusion
Cloudflare's October 2, 2026 update removes the plan barrier from log export and several management features, and it sets a public rule that new features will not be reserved for Enterprise contracts. The useful step for most businesses is small: decide whether you need traffic and firewall logs, choose where they go, and switch the export on while nothing is wrong. Treat hard spending caps as planned, not delivered, until Cloudflare ships them.
